On this page you should be able to find few programs that could help you in designing your first web page. I only put links to the programs or tutorials that I have tried and tested myself and know that they work and are helpful tools for fresh Internet programmers. All materials are of course FREE, easy to install and simple to operate. Each time I try new program I will add a link to it so comeback once again for more of free web designing tools.

*Getting Started*     These tutorials outline the HTML basics. They are the most useful teaching pages for anybody new to HTML. Created by Joe Burns tutorials are great place to start your HTML journey.

*HTML Menu*     Simple but very nice HTML tutorial designed by Daniel. The tutorial is on line but pages are easy to copy and paste and print if desired.

*Arachnophilia*     I used this software for developing my web pages and you have to believe me this program is much, much, much better that my work. Simple the best HTML editor I have seen so far, with tons of extras. It supports HTML and JAVASCRIPT and has many features for formatting the way you display text on the web page. Archnolphilla also includes tutorial on HTML. It is also 100% FREE. If you're looking for HTML editor that's what you need.

*EasyHTML*    That would be my second choice for the HTML editor. Covers even more options than Arachnophilia. I still use it's nicely design wizards and JavaScripts.

*1st Page 2000*    Sensational source code HTML editor. It comes with word perfect options, like: spell checker or thesaurus. It has nice programming features, like: DHTML, Java, Flash 4, Shockwave, ActiveX, JavaScripts and VBScripts and many more. I use it all the times for all the scripting parts of my web pages.

*Web-O-Rama*    Another excellent HTML source-code editor. It also contains of tons of terrific features. I still use it for options that Arachnophilia or EasyHTML don't cover.

*JMK JavaScript Author*    Unbelievable JavaScript editor that comes with nice help file and useful tutorials. If you are new to JavaScript it may be just what you need.

*Reptile*    This software lets you create unlimited backgrounds & textures that you can use for your web pages or computer desctop; It comes with lots of samples that you can modify in many ways.

*Ulead GIF Animator LE*    This is and absolutely best free GIF animator available on the net. Lite edition is free for unlimited time and the commercial version is free for 15 days. Download any of this versions and make as many nice animated graphics as you need.

*WebPainter v1.0*    With this greatly designed software you can produce GIF animations and Web graphics for your web pages. This is totally commercial software but it is now free thanks to the UK’s .net magazine.

*Cool Text*    That is my favorite pick with wide range of effects. I have made most of my logos, buttons and bullets here. It is FREE and easy to use.

*Media Builder*    Simple banners, buttons and fonts on line designer. When creating banners the only things you get to customize are the text and animated background effects you want. There's a wide range of text effects, but the output is rather basic black, animated text on a white background.
